Join the TCPUD in celebrating our California Water Professionals October 7 - 15

The California Legislature in 2017 officially designated the first week of October as California Water Professionals Appreciation Week. The recognition week was established by Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 80. The resolution, authored by Sen. Bill Dodd (D-Napa), was sponsored by an Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA)-led coalition that included WateReuse California, California Municipal Utilities Association, California Association of Sanitation Agencies, and California Water Association. The California Water Environment Association also was a partner in the effort. Under the resolution, Water Professionals Appreciation Week is celebrated from the first Saturday of October to the Sunday of the following weekend each year. 

From October 7 - 15, 2023, California celebrates water industry professionals and local public water agencies dedicated to ensuring the delivery of clean, reliable, and quality drinking water and safe wastewater and recycled water services throughout California. Join the Tahoe City Public Utility District in thanking our water professionals dedicated to providing critical water and wastewater services to our community each and every day.
