Empowerment Through Self-Defense and Protection

Description

This four-week class course teaches participants simple and effective self defense skills using principles from the martial art of Aikido. The primary aim is to teach people the skills to prevent them from becoming victims of physical abuse, and to provide them with techniques to safely evade harm. The techniques and skills we teach also can improve balance and coordination, and can increase self-confidence. The course is taught by two local Aikido instructors: Douglas Dale, and Zach Hymanson. Douglas is a 6th degree black belt, with more than 40 years of experience in Aikido. Zach is a 3rd degree black belt, with more than 12 years of experience in Aikido. This course is open to anyone 16 years or older. Couples are welcome. To register, email Zach Hymanson here.
